About me
I’m Elizabeth Jones, Licensed Professional Counselor, the owner and therapist at Pathways to Peace Counseling, LLC.
Before I became a counselor, I worked in the field of education. I received a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from Messiah University and have worked with a wide variety of clients including college students, people from international backgrounds, new parents, older adults, people experiencing homelessness, and those recovering from addiction.
I’m married with three adult children and two sweet but sassy cats. In my free time you can find me teaching English to immigrants, hiking through forests, or creating pottery.
My mission is to offer you encouragement, support, knowledge, and practical skills that can help you move towards greater mental and emotional health.
While working with clients, I use person-centered, strengths-based, and cognitive behavioral orientations while incorporating EMDR and techniques from narrative, solution-focused, and mindfulness approaches as needed.
I seek to create a safe and comfortable space for collaboration, exploration, and growth while helping clients develop hope, expand their capacity to make positive changes, and gain courage and confidence to take steps toward their goals.
My specializations include perinatal mental health, fertility challenges, anxiety, grief, trauma, negative core beliefs, and spiritually integrated psychotherapy.
